We’re downtown. We’re walkable. We’ve got it all! The vibrant C-E neighborhood has been the Holy City's “hottest" neighborhood for the last five years. Known for its historic charm, friendly residents, and eclectic "mom and pop" eateries and bars, C-E has much to offer. Need an upscale salon or an old school barber shop? Take your pick. Upper King (only 2 blocks away) is bursting with shops, award-winning restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Every Saturday, Marion Square (10 minute walk) hosts a Farmers’ Market with locally-grown produce, handmade goods, and delicious food stands. With so many shops, restaurants and other sites within walking distance, our location provides you with the luxury of parking your car if you choose and hitting the pavement during your stay via foot, bike, pedicab, free trolley, or Uber. Charleston is an extremely unique city on the eastern seaboard. Unparalleled in its charm, growing rapidly, and always expanding its culinary and arts scene while still maintaining its historical integrity, the Holy City has much to offer. For an authentic Charlestonian experience, visit the Charleston City Market (20 minute walk), one of the oldest public markets in America. Stretching over four city blocks, the market boasts over 300 vendors. There are also plenty of great coffee shops and quiet places to take your laptop and work if you don't want to work "at home". Located outside the flood zone, Cayo Cañón is within walking distance to The Charleston City Marina, MUSC, College of Charleston, and Charleston School of Law.

  • The Quinns lived up to, and exceeded, their 5 star rating! While everything was as it should be, clean, well-appointed, convenient, with excellent support, they also took little extra steps. The kitchen was not only complete, but with superb appliances. The king size bed was just the right firmness. The yard was attractive and welcoming, as were they in person. It just worked so well. Downtown was walking distance, as was my conference at the Marriott. The old Charleston charm was retained in the apartment, original wood floors, that slight list of the porch, but was made just right by the attention to detail. The neighborhood has that same style and has a wide variety of diverse and excellent food options within convenient distance (as close as next door!). Their recommendations were spot on in every instance we tried. The off street parking, especially in the midst of repaving, was a real plus. The access to major roadways made visiting other parts of town very inviting. We will certainly recommend this location to friends and family and hope to have the occasion to come back.

  • The Quinns as hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Their home was in a great location for us because it is only a couple blocks away from King Street. It also had amazing amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen. Be sure to get a chance to meet their dog Artoo before you leave because she is adorable!

  • The most responsive and hospitable hosts you could ask for. Great spot in the perfect location, only a few blocks from King Street. The noisemaker, while not necessary for a good night's sleep, was incredible.

  • The house is great and the unit is very well appointed. Comfy bed, full kitchen. Emily is lovely and we adored R2 the frenchie. Our only issue with this Airbnb was the street noise on Friday and Saturday night. This was partly our fault, Cannon is clearly one of the major streets in this part of Charleston. I should have taken that into consideration. However, we loved the neighborhood! There is so much to do and all the best new restaurants are just a five minute walk away. We walked everywhere all weekend. Just felt I had to mention the noise because if you are looking for somewhere very peaceful and quiet this isn't your rental.

  • The Quinn’s hospitality was great. Liked the fact they had keypad check in. However, they were very accessible via text/email/call if we had any issues/questions. Their place was clean, had a historical charm to it, and was easy walking distance to array of bars/restaurants. Also not a long drive to Folly beach. Would definitely consider staying here at Cayo Canon if we came down to Charleston again.

  • We highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Thanks so much Quinns!

  • Fantastic location, secured parking, & great accommodations!!! The Quinns were there if you needed them, but respectful of privacy. Privacy, I value a great deal! Wonderful!!!

  • Our week long stay at the Quinn's was great! Other than taking an Uber to the beach, photo we were able to walk everywhere and never had to be in a car, which was great! The location was perfect for everything we planned to do! The only downside was it was so hot in July that the air conditioning wasn't keeping up, but within minutes of my text Michael and Emily were downstairs looking at the unit and brought a fan. Even though it never cooled below 77 degrees, the fan helped a lot and made it much more comfortable! I also forgot to bring Aloe Vera lotion and Emily let me borrow hers, which I greatly appreciate! The Quinn's were great hosts, and the location couldn't have been better! All in all, a great week spent in Charleston!
